Get Connected | Maple Grove Christian Church

Following Jesus isn't a solo journey. We're better together—learning, growing, serving, and walking through life with people who care about you and want to see you thrive.

Whether you're brand new to faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, there's a place for you here.

If You're New to Following Jesus

Maybe you recently decided to follow Jesus, or you're still figuring out what that even means. Either way, we're here to help you take the next steps.

Get Baptized

Baptism is how Christians publicly declare their faith in Jesus. If you're ready to take that step, let us know—we'd love to celebrate with you.

Small Groups

Small groups are where real community happens. These are gatherings of 8-12 people who meet regularly to study Scripture, pray together, and do life as friends.

We have groups that meet at different times and locations throughout the week. Some focus on Bible study, some on prayer, and some are just about building friendships and supporting each other through the ups and downs of life.

If you're interested in joining a small group, let us know and we'll help you find one that's a good fit.

Ask About Small Groups

For Your Family

We believe kids and students need more than just entertaining programs—they need to know Jesus and be part of a community that cares about them. Here's what we offer:

Nursery & Preschool

Birth – PreK

A safe, nurturing environment where your little ones are cared for during the service. Our volunteers are background-checked and love serving families.

When: Sundays during the 10:00 AM service

Children's Ministry

Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Kids learn about Jesus through age-appropriate lessons, worship, games, and activities. We want them to know that following Jesus is exciting and real—not just something their parents do.

When: Sundays during the 10:00 AM service

Led by: [Children's Ministry Leader Name]

Student Ministry

6th – 12th Grade

Middle and high school students need a place where they can ask hard questions, build real friendships, and figure out what it means to follow Jesus in a world that's often confusing. Our student ministry creates space for honest conversations, fun activities, and spiritual growth.

When: Sundays during the 10:00 AM service + [Weekly youth group night, if applicable]

Led by: [Student Ministry Leader Name]

Have questions about our kids' or student ministries? Reach out to Pastor Nick and he'll connect you with the right person.

Ways to Serve

One of the best ways to connect is to serve. When you use your gifts to bless others, you not only contribute to the mission of the church—you also build relationships and grow in your faith.

Here are some areas where we could use your help:

  • Worship Team – Musicians, vocalists, and tech volunteers
  • Children's & Student Ministries – Teachers, small group leaders, and helpers
  • Hospitality – Greeters, coffee prep, and setup/cleanup teams
  • Outreach & Service Projects – Opportunities to serve our community
  • Small Group Leadership – Facilitating groups for spiritual growth

Interested in serving? Let us know what you're passionate about and we'll help you find a place to plug in.

If You're Looking for a Church Home

Maybe you've been following Jesus for a while and you're new to the Bloomington area, or you're searching for a church where you can put down roots. We'd love to help you find community here.

Here's how to get started:

  • Visit on a Sunday. Experience our worship, hear Pastor Nick teach, and stick around afterward to meet some folks.
  • Join a small group. This is where you'll build the kind of friendships that actually matter.
  • Serve somewhere. Find a place to use your gifts and contribute to what God is doing here.
  • Talk with Pastor Nick. He'd love to hear your story, answer your questions, and help you figure out if Maple Grove is the right fit for you and your family.

We're not perfect, but we're genuine. If you're looking for a place where you can grow, serve, and walk with Jesus alongside other imperfect people, you might just be home.
